Our Preschool students have finished their Ball Exploration Unit and are now working on an Indoor Soccer Unit. We are working on not using our hands to stop and control the ball, dribbling, big kicks to open spaces, passing to a partner and shooting on the net!
Kindergarten and First Graders just finished their Scoops Unit where they worked on tossing and catching the ball to themselves at medium, low and high levels, passing underhand to a partner and First Graders also tried the overhand throw with a partner.
Second and Third Graders are finishing up a Lacrosse Unit where they have been working on scooping, cradling, medium, low and high level catches to themselves as well as underhand and overhand passes with a partner!
Next up for preschool will be a floor gymnastics unit while the Kindergarten, First Graders, Second Graders and Third Graders will be moving onto a Native American/Indigenous People and Pilgrim Games Unit! Be sure to send your kiddos to school with sneakers on their Physical Education Days and wear layers as the temperature starts to drop! Thank you, Ms. Buron
